Thomas Shockman

Tom is passionate about helping people understand and navigate the financial jungle of opinions and products to help them make smart, educated decisions about their money that they feel good about.

Competition in athletics taught Tom that success comes from consistent, daily teamwork toward a goal. Applying that to the financial world starts with knowing customer desires and needs, setting basic goals and then starting the process to build on it. He is genuinely interested in getting to know each person he works with: "What is important to them?" "Where do they want to go in life?" His goal is to build on those items and come up with solutions they understand.

Prior to starting in the financial services industry in 1987, he graduated from North Dakota State University where he also played football for the Bison from 1980-1983. Tom Resides in Fargo with his wife, Karita. They have four grown children and enjoy spending time with their grandkids. Tom closely follows NDSU sports and likes golf and hunting.
